Candlewood Partners is excited to introduce its newest summer intern, Michael Mitri. Michael is a rising junior studying Economics and Math at The University of Virginia. He is currently an associate at the McIntire Investment Institute, a student-run investment fund with over $1 million in assets under management, where he contributes to fundamental research and financial analysis as part of investment committee discussions focused on public equities. We’re excited to welcome Michael to the team and look forward to his contributions this summer.
Candlewood Partners designs its summer intern program to create an immersive and meaningful experience in which interns work directly alongside our team to support our clients and deal execution. Michael will initially be staffed on two different debt capital placement engagements, one of which is for a public company, supporting outreach research and preparing materials, underwriting, and deal coordination.
We are glad to have Mike on board and look forward to seeing his professional development throughout his internship journey.
