Before joining Candlewood, Phil was an Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. on the Environmental & Industrial Services team. Phil supported multiple successful transaction processes, performing all pertinent financial analyses, diligence, and execution while maintaining working relationships with clients and investors. Phil has a wide range of exposure to several industries within the middle market, with transaction experience in mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, and debt financing. Other than closing deals, Phil loves jet skiing, dirt biking, and hiking. Phil is a Cleveland native and a big Ohio State fan. He joined Candlewood in the summer of 2015 after spending seven years in commercial banking at Fifth Third Bank. His transaction experience includes acquisitions, working capital and fixed asset financing, syndicated loans, cash flow loans, special situations, and restructurings. Natan’s responsibilities at Candlewood include managing relationships with clients and lending partners and overseeing marketing, diligence, and closing processes. Natan and his family recently relocated to South Florida. In Cleveland, he served as a board member of the Cleveland Jewish Federation and was Board Chair of the Federation’s Young Leadership Division in 2018. He now serves on the Business & Professional Cabinet of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and is active in professional organizations such as ACG, TMA, and IFA. When out of the office, Natan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate, and daughters, Ellie and Josie. He is a huge Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan and enjoys running, weightlifting, hiking, and generally being active, as well as a nice glass of bourbon or scotch when relaxing. Before joining Candlewood, Phil was an Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. on the Environmental & Industrial Services team. Phil supported multiple successful transaction processes, performing all pertinent financial analyses, diligence, and execution while maintaining working relationships with clients and investors. Phil has a wide range of exposure to several industries within the middle market, with transaction experience in mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, and debt financing. Other than closing deals, Phil loves jet skiing, dirt biking, and hiking. Phil is a Cleveland native and a big Ohio State fan. Besides spending time with friends and family, you can catch him playing the guitar or planning his next travel adventure.
