Natan has nearly 20 years of experience in lending, capital raising, and M&A advisory. A trusted advisor to business owners, private equity sponsors, and lenders, Natan has built a career on delivering creative solutions across a wide range of transaction types — including debt placement, M&A execution, special situations, and restructurings.
Natan joined Candlewood in 2015 following seven years in commercial banking at Fifth Third Bank. In 2022, he opened Candlewood’s South Florida office, which has since grown into a thriving regional presence. In addition to building and stewarding that office, Natan has been instrumental in leading and expanding Candlewood’s debt capital advisory practice while also driving numerous restructuring and sell-side engagements on behalf of clients.
Natan holds a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate & Urban Analysis from The Ohio State University and an MBA with a concentration in Management from John Carroll University.
Beyond his professional work, Natan is deeply committed to his community, having served in leadership roles with the Jewish Federation in both Cleveland and South Florida and as a member of JFNA’s National Young Leadership Cabinet. He is also involved in ACG and TMA. Outside the office, Natan resides in Boynton Beach with his wife and two daughters. A dedicated weightlifter who enjoys the outdoors, he has taken on adventures including a rim-to-rim crossing of the Grand Canyon and a 14er in Colorado. He is also a loyal supporter of Ohio State and Cleveland sports, a fan of live music and comedy shows, and unwinds best with a good glass of bourbon or scotch.
