Phil Rawson joined Candlewood Partners in 2020. He enjoys building successful client relationships, managing complex transactions, and working with high-level individuals. He is involved in all transaction stages, from initial due diligence to financial modeling, marketing material development, investor outreach, and closing.
Before joining Candlewood, Phil was an Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. on the Environmental & Industrial Services team. Phil supported multiple successful transaction processes, performing all pertinent financial analyses, diligence, and execution while maintaining working relationships with clients and investors.
Phil has a wide range of exposure to several industries within the middle market, with transaction experience in mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, and debt financing.
Other than closing deals, Phil loves jet skiing, dirt biking, and hiking. Phil is a Cleveland native and a big Ohio State fan. Besides spending time with friends and family, you can catch him playing the guitar or planning his next travel adventure.
