The company was seeking to replace its working capital lender with a new lender whose goals and strategy better aligned with the company’s vision.
Candlewood was engaged to find a new lender for the company, just as the coronavirus pandemic had begun to spread across the country and retail stores began to close. While the company’s management team adeptly navigated the business ramifications of the shutdowns, Candlewood led the process of securing the new lending partner. The process began in March of 2020 and was successfully completed in June of 2020.
