Candlewood Partners is pleased to announce that it served as exclusive investment bank and advisor to The GC Companies (“GCC”) in its acquisition of AVANTech, Inc., an innovative provider of nuclear water treatment solutions for the US Department of Energy and Defense, the commercial utility nuclear market and certain industrial end users.
Candlewood’s turnkey acquisition support team assisted GCC in closing the acquisition, including underwriting and financial modeling, diligence review and evaluation, and document negotiation. Candlewood ultimately secured $65M in committed senior debt financing.
Post-closing, Candlewood will continue to support GCC, the Board of Directors and senior management.
