He was recently the CEO and Investment Banker for a $1.1 Billion troubled container terminal project in Damietta, Egypt, and has also served as CEO of a $180 million food distributor. Glenn has been responsible for managing dozens of transactions, including: mergers & acquisitions leveraged capital transactions, restructurings, Chapter 11 reorganizations and bond exchange offers.
Prior to founding Candlewood Partners, Glenn was the Managing Director and Principal responsible for the Restructuring Practice at Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Co., a middle market investment banking firm. He was also the CEO of one of the country’s largest wholesale meat distributors, a turnaround consultant with a national practice, and a “Big Six” accounting and systems professional. Glenn has served as a director for a number of public and private companies.

Before joining Candlewood, Phil was an Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. on the Environmental & Industrial Services team. Phil has a wide range of exposure to several industries within the middle market, with transaction experience in mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, and debt financing.
Other than closing deals, Phil loves jet skiing, dirt biking, and hiking. Phil is a Cleveland native and a big Ohio State fan. Besides spending time with friends and family, you can catch him playing the guitar or planning his next travel adventure.

Steve’s extensive expertise in capital markets encompasses debt refinancing, growth capital, ownership transitions, and restructuring services. Steve also serves as the CEO of Candlewood Securities, the firm’s broker-dealer division, which further enhances Candlewood’s ability to provide comprehensive financial services to its clients.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Steve is deeply committed to social impact and community service. He is the co-founder of All Flourish, Inc., an initiative dedicated to empowering under-resourced individuals by providing essential resources such as capital, networks, and mentorship. All Flourish aims to bridge the gap in resource distribution, enabling people to realize their full potential. Additionally, Steve co-founded Backrs, a digital mentoring platform designed to support high-performing, under-resourced young adults. Through Backrs, Steve helps young people navigate their educational and early career journeys by connecting them with teams of mentors who offer guidance and support. Steve’s dedication to community service was exemplified by his role as Chairman of the Planning Commission in South Russell, Ohio, where he served for over a decade until 2023. In this capacity, he oversaw the village’s development and zoning regulations, ensuring sustainable growth that benefited the community.
When he is not at work, Steve stays active keeping up with his four teenage and adult boys and equally active wife, Anna. Steve has also completed some crazy athletic competitions, like GoRuck, Spartan races, and triathlons.

He now serves on the Business & Professional Cabinet of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and is active in professional organizations such as ACG, TMA, and IFA.
When out of the office, Natan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate, and daughters, Ellie and Josie. He is a huge Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan and enjoys running, weightlifting, hiking, and generally being active, as well as a nice glass of bourbon or scotch when relaxing.
